History
- 1956: Hill opened as “Kettlehole Bowl”.
- Rope tows were powered by diesel tractors, and the chalet consisted of 1930’s-era building from the Civilian Conservation Corps
- 1965: First annual Fun Day held at Kettlebowl Ski Hill (Source: ADJ)
- 1970: New trail cut, interior of chalet painted (Source: ADJ)
- 1972: Seventh annual Fun Day held at Kettlebowl Ski Hill (Source: ADJ)
- “Over 400 skiers participated in the seventh annual Fun Day held at Kettlebowl Ski Hill. Highlighting the day which was filled with numerous races and other activities was 18-year-old Tom Matter who completed the first flip off a jump located on the grounds. Gordon Schofield was chairman of the event while David Duchac handled motion picture photography and refreshments. As a treat, Mrs. Edward Hill baked a special cake, a replica of the ski hill.”
- 1971: New lights, purchase of snow-packing machine, construction of 20×40 metal pole building to house machinery.
- Langlade County “Green Thumb” workers who built the building were Joseph Bures, John Hermann, Jerry Farrand, Louis Newmeg, John Borowczyk and Al Schmiesser. (Source: ADJ)

- 2005: The new chalet opens, introducing indoor plumbing water to the site.
- 2022: Tracked UTV purchased for grooming cross-country trails and performing hill maintenance.
- 2023: Ski patrol building is added. Rental area built inside.
