Saturday is a big day at Kettlebowl Ski Hill.

It’s the annual Fun Day, and costumes are highly encouraged for all activities.

Children 5 and younger can meet at 1 p.m. at the sawdust pile for a sawdust change hunt.

Then come the slalom races at 1 p.m.; meet at the fire pit.

At 1:30 p.m., the cardboard sled races will begin. Display the sleds on the snowhill between the parking lot and the hill; meet there at race time.

Rules for the sled races are:

— One rider must ride in the sled at all times.

— One rider must be in the sled when it crosses the finish line.

— All contestants must wear a helmet

— Contestants will get two runs down the hill.

— Contestants are responsible for removal and disposal of their sleds from the property.

— Sled materials can include cardboard, glue, string, tape and paint.

— Age groups are 9 and younger, 10-14, and 15 and older.

— Prizes will be awarded for first and second places in each group, as well as for Best Crash.

The Water Plunge will be held at 2:30 p.m. Meet by the water thole for this event.
