Kettlebowl Ski Hill has been in operation by volunteers since the 1950s. The hill offers local families and friends a chance to gather together and enjoy a day of skiing or snowboarding at a very affordable price. To keep the cost affordable, the hill relies on donations for the cost of operations. The maintenance, operations and board members are all volunteer positions.
Organizers are seeking funds to improve the facility. There is currently not enough space to accommodate safety equipment, visitors, volunteers and to treat injuries. As of now, everything is in one area.
Volunteers now have to maneuver through a chalet full of people to get safety equipment out and to treat people.
Corporate sponsors, golfers and volunteers are being sought for the golf fundraiser.
